First Conditional
First Conditional (первое условное наклонение) – это конструкция, которую мы используем, когда говорим о возможной, реальной ситуации(условии) в будущем и о ее последствиях.
Предложения такого типа всегда состоят из двух частей: условия и результата.
e.g. If the weather is fine, we’ll go for a walk.
Для образования этой формы существует специальная схема:
If + Present Simple, will+ infinitive/без to
e.g. If I meet him, I’ll pretend that I don’t know him.
- Вместо if могут использоваться также when, as soon as, unless, etc.
e.g. When I meet him, I’ll pretend that I don’t know him.
- Вместо will могут использоваться can, shall, may или повелительное наклонение.
e.g. If I meet him, I can pretend that I don’t know him.
If you meet him, pretend that you don’t know him.(повелительноенаклонение)
- В First Conditional части предложения могу меняться местами. Смысл предложения от этого не изменится.
e.g. If it rains tomorrow, will you stay at home?
Will you stay at home if it rains tomorrow?
