Wish
Wish используется, когда речь идет о желаниях, как правило, нереальных, — в настоящем, прошлом и будущем.
e.g. I wish I had a new bag.(но у меня ее нет)
Если мы говорим о желаниях в настоящем времени, то глагол после wish используется в Past Simple.
e.g. I wish this car was mine.
Если мы говорим о желаниях в прошедшем времени, то глагол после wish используется в Past Perfect.
e.g.I wish I had done it yesterday.(но я этого не сделала)
Если мы говорим о желаниях в будущем времени, то после wish используется would + infinitive. Данную конструкцию можно использовать только для изменяющихся действий, а не для ситуаций.
e.g. I wish I would lose weight next year.(но это маловероятно)
- В конструкции с wish союз that (что) не используется.
